Happy Love Month! You probably want to have your usual date night outside, but due to the threat of the virus decided to just stay home and prepare a special meal for your family.
In our case, I am in my second trimester and am having an internal struggle with myself to brave the kitchen and prepare something.
Here are some of the super quick and easy date night recipes you can whip up for your special someone.
Asian Soy Barbecue Fried Chicken Recipe

Magnolia chicken
Ingredients:
1 (500g) pack MAGNOLIA READY-TO-COOK FRIED CHICKEN, cooked according to package directions
1 (10g) bundle green onions, chopped
Soy Barbecue Sauce:
1/4 cup Magnolia Gold Butter Salted
1/4 cup light soy sauce
1 tbsp brown sugar
1/4 cup rice wine
1 tbsp calamansi juice
1 tsp grated ginger
2 tsp cornstarch, dissolved in 1/4 cup water
Procedure:
1. Combine sauce ingredients in a saucepan. Let simmer for 3 minutes. Remove from heat.
2. Lightly toss the chicken in sauce. Transfer to platter and top with green onions.
Makes 5 servings.
Quick and Easy Date Night Spaghetti
Ingredients:
1 (500g) Purefoods Slow-cooked Spaghetti Sauce
1 pasta of your choice, cooked according to package instructions.
Procedure:
1. Thaw frozen bag of sauce for 10-15 minutes.
2. Pour spaghetti sauce into a saucepan.
3. Simmer for 3-5 minutes.
4. Pour over cooked pasta.
5. Serve.
